  GStreamer | don't know | 0.10.x

Summary: playbin2 plays a long duration flac song from a
                    http:// stream
    Classification: Platform
           Product: GStreamer
           Version: 0.10.x
        OS/Version: Linux
            Status: UNCONFIRMED
          Severity: normal
          Priority: Normal
         Component: don't know
        AssignedTo: gstreamer-bugs at lists.freedesktop.org
        ReportedBy: pklai at aldtech.com
         QAContact: gstreamer-bugs at lists.freedesktop.org
     GNOME version: ---

When playbin2 plays a large flac file from a http server, file size is around
250M bytes, duration is longer than 50 minutes, bit rate is around 570kbps.
When it reaches around 24 minutes, it suddenly use up all the free memory and
trigger a oom-killer. My machine has 64M byte physical memory, and has tried
with overcommit_ratio from 50% to 200%, making more free memory only let it
play 1 to 2 minute longer before oom-killer kill it. How to make playbin2 play
such a large file? I only have this kind of songs in flac, I don't know if the
same problem exists in other audio format. Please help!

Regards,
Colman
