If it's GStreamer which crashes, the fix needs to go in GStreamer, not Banshee.

I would suggest adjusting some settings of this bug (such as the version number
of GStreamer in which you can reproduce it), so GStreamers devs can assist you
better to fix the issue or to help you fix it.
