I can not find any useful information about gstreamer bugs.
can you play the mp4 file using command line, example: $ gst-launch-0.10
playbin2 uri=file:///your-path/your-file.mp4

It seems there is not a gstreamer's bug.
Maybe you don't install some plugins for parse mp4 file.
