Sebastian, do you have any more ideas about this ?
AFAICT, the pipeline bits are destroyed and recreated because other elements
might be needed in their stead (eg, if the two subtitle streams have different
formats, they might need different elements).
I had another quick look at this, but I've no real idea what to do here.
