Since GstPropertyProbe was removed in 0.11, we need to come up with a
replacement. I'm guessing that some of the core developers have already thought
of how to implement this, which is my I'm creating this bug. For my needs it
would return a list of devices, each with a friendly name, an internal name,
and associated caps (fixed and not). The internal name or some other identifier
would then be used to set the device.
