mickyz, if you get crashes:
* run G_DEBUG="fatal_warnings" gdb --args ./your-app ...
* provoke the crash
* type 'bt' in gdb to get a full backtrace
* if the backtrace is in gstreamer, post it here (including the full backtrace)
