Ah, with the gst-launch command you gave me, it doesn't crash during playback,
though it doesn't do anything when I try to use the right/left arrows to seek.

...and of course, now that I retry on pitivi + gst 1.0.2 with the sample I
provided, it doesn't crash, it plays and seeks fine, etc. Ugh :)
