Adding support to souphttpsrc would be better than making dlnasrc highest
ranked HTTP element in any case (and what do we do when someone invents yet
another HTTP protocol that doesn't get a new URI scheme?)... however are you
going to add every single protocol out there that is on top of HTTP to
souphttpsrc? I think this solution also does not scale and is rather ugly
