Both streams work fine for me, what's the problem? I tried:

gst-launch-1.0 filesrc location=/home/wim/Downloads/fixed-out.gdp ! gdpdepay !
decodebin ! xvimagesink
gst-launch-1.0 filesrc location=/home/wim/Downloads/fixed-out.gdp ! gdpdepay !
rtpjpegdepay ! jpegdec ! xvimagesink
gst-launch-1.0 filesrc location=/home/wim/Downloads/fixed-out.gdp ! gdpdepay !
rtpjpegdepay ! avdec_mjpeg ! xvimagesink

same with the faulty-out.gdp. What's the difference between those two files?
