I have another information. You said in Comment # 115:

In fact, when I encounter the bug more than two year ago (with Gstreamer 0.10),
I found the "sync=false" trick in the Texas Instruments GStreamer Wiki and
other similar documents that mimicked it.

Maybe the bug was never found because everyone cheats with "sync=false" instead
of report it. If you play less than a day, you can never have a problem using
"sync=false".

I never use "sync=false" because I understand why, but because without it it
would not work. So I thought it was the right thing to do because it is simply
the only way to get something that looks like a normal operation.

It happened to me to teach "sync=false" as a solution to others believing that
it was normal and the right way to do it.
