I think that if we integrate the EGLImageBufferpool handling into GstGLFilter,
then glcolorscale could be used for this purpose instead.  glcolorscale
essentially provides the functionality of GstGLFilter to the pipeline with no
effects/transformations.  The other do-nothing element is 'gleffects effect=0'
