It's something that is asked every now and then on IRC or the mailing list. But
in general it's a better idea to create a custom bin with two specific source
elements in these cases instead of using something like appsrc.

Nonetheless I think having some kind of multiappsrc / multiappsink could be
useful to have.


I just shortly looked at your patch now, but what's the smart-properties
property exactly doing? Seems like this should be split out of a first version
as it doesn't seem to be required and is solving something separate?
