I was also just going to port the Collabora one to 1.x and use the JNI bits
from androidmedia (and if necessary extend them). But if you already almost
finished that... :)

Make sure that each commit on its own is compilable, so you probably have to
squash all those per-file commits together. And the current solution for the
Java files is to use the plugin-java-file magic from cerbero. Basically you
place the .java files in some directory in share/gst-android (check the
cerbero/data/ndk-build code for details).
