I think the error message is pretty clear. It did not find a new-enough GLib
version. This is a problem with your setup. Either you do not have GLib
development headers (-dev packages) installed, or the installed version is too
old, or you have not setup your environment correctly so that it finds the
right version (e.g. set PKG_CONFIG_PATH).

In any case, this is a bug tracker, please write to the gstreamer-devel mailing
list for support.

Also, GStreamer 0.10 is many many years old and is no longer maintained.
