valgrind --suppressions=common/gst.supp --leak-check=full gst-launch-1.0
videotestsrc num-buffers=10 ! fakesink

and

gst-plugins-base/tests/check$ make elements/videotestsrc.valgrind

work fine for me, so I think this can be closed?
