Log message:
Fix vumeter so that it compiles and runs.  It doesn't do much of use
though: simply produces some debug output, and has a set of arguments
which report the volume.
It might be more useful if it produced its output from a source pad,
in an appropriate format, so that another plugin could graphically display
this.
