It's gcc being a bit too pedantic. Just switching off -Werror for this
one makes it compile. I reckon we'd need to remove the -Werror from the
default CFLAGS before the release.

(It happened to me at GUADEC, and Erik told me to just remove the
-Werror, works afterwards).
