Hi all,

okay, just to get rid of all this discussion, can't we just make a
--enable-warning-error option in ./configure (this enables -Werror)
which is automatically enabled if you let configure being run from
autogen.sh? That way, releases don't have this option enabled (unless
asked for) and CVS versions do (unless you delete ten characters from
autogen.sh).
