[gst-devel] riff library

Hey guys,

I'm trying to fix up wavparse a little, so that it also detects more 
exotic formats inside a wav file.

There's a bug, http://bugzilla.gnome.org/show_bug.cgi?id=100692,
which says that we have duplicated functionality as to our riff parsing; a
library in gst-plugins as well as code for wavparse only.

The library looks to be in much better shape and has most of the defines I 
need already, so I was wondering if anyone objects to my trying to clean 
up wavparse using only the riff library, and removing the riff stuff 
duplicated in the plugin altogether ?
