The GStTag stuff is supposed to be a replacement for tags. (I
differentiate "tags" from "metadata". Tags are added information that can be
changed - title, author - where metadata includes information that can not be
chagned without reencoding - length, bitrate).
I'm not sure what to do about metadata in the long run. (As information: I
intend to clear that up with the involved tagging coders - probably
Christophe, Colin, Thomas and some others - when Rhythmbox and probably media-
info have been ported or are in the process and have some ideas what they need
(like length, ugh).

Anyway, media-info should be changed to use the new tagging stuff and then
media info can even write tags.
Unfortunately it is extremely overengineered for current GStreamer
possibilites (and probably always was). So I tend to hate it. ;)
