Well, even though the content is plain text, it's supposed to be
something else than a text file. I'd go for the second one.

Now the question: would you want all subtitle formats supported in one
plugin? since we autodetect things anyway, it'd be more "gstreamer'ish"
to make one plugin per subtitle format. Do you agree here?

(I don't know how similar mdvdsub/SubRip are - so this is just a general
note, nothing specific).
