[gst-devel] partitioning video-only

This might depend on the video format ... but are there any
plugins to split a video file into $n$ parts (i-frame boundaries
are ok).  I am looking for something along the lines of avisplit.

If not, which plugin is best suited to start with, I am
_somewhat_ aquainted with ffmpeg hacking ...

Any help is greatly appreciated, thanks.
