[gst-devel] Seek howto ?

Hi,

actually, it's slightly more subtle. Elements can't, apps can. Apps can bring back the whole pipeline to playing, because they actually control it. Elements can only touch themselves, because they don't control anything beyond themselves.

But yes, this will be worked on for 0.9.x.

No, seeking after EOS does not work. This is one of the things that is going 
to be fixed in the next unstable release, but can't before because of design 
issues.
