just a quick followup on this:

Allthough glib usually permits to refer to signal/properties/.. by either using
'-' or '_' ('value-changed' and 'value_changed' is the same), connection to
notifies requires to use '-'. If one uses '_' the callback does not get
triggered and no error is shown.
