 Thoggen 0.4 has just been released. Get it from:

 So far there is only a source tarball, packages might follow later.

  What is Thoggen?
 ------------------------
 
 Thoggen is a DVD backup utility ("DVD ripper") for Linux, based on Gtk+ and 
 GStreamer. It creates ogg/theora video files and features an extremely 
 intuitive and easy to use interface. Thoggen supports picture cropping and 
 resizing.

 * Make things work with the new HAL/DBus API
   (FC4, Ubuntu breezy, Gentoo etc.)
 * Improve audio stream detection
 * Ask for confirmation when cancelling a job
   job via the cancel button as well (would
   only ask when closing the window previously)
 * Add .desktop file (Bastien Nocera)
 * Requires GStreamer plugins 0.8.10 (which
   contains a lot of improvements for
   audio/video sync and ogg muxing)
