[gst-devel] naming of objects in API

Hi,

today I was really annoyed at having gst_pad_new take a name as the
first arg, and gst_pad_new_from_teplate taking the name as the second
arg.

Does that make sense to anyone ? There are probably other places in our
API, but this one sticks out badly; the docs are right underneath one
another, and gst-python is doing some stupid to wrap both of these
functions as a constructor.
