You should report bugs to bugzilla, rather than the development list.
It's also good to test this sort of thing with a more recent version -
since you're a developer, rather than an end-user, this shouldn't be
unreasonably difficult.

This file works fine, by the way, with current cvs. It did crash for
me using older versions.
