[gst-devel] profiling gstreamer?

Has anyone built and profiled gstreamer?  If so, what configure options
and tools do you use?

I am really stuck on the blocked timeout problem I described earlier and
thought maybe a profiler would help me figure out where the pipeline is
sleeping, waiting for select/poll, or whatever else it is doing that
prevents the GmainLoop from running, but isn't burning all of the CPU
cycles.
