Using testaudiosrc I am seeing excessive CPU loads of up to 50%. The pipeline
is as follows:

gst-launch -v audiotestsrc ! decodebin ! alsasink
Setting pipeline to PAUSED ...
/GstPipeline:pipeline0/GstAudioTestSrc:audiotestsrc0.GstPad:src: caps =
audio/x-raw-int, endianness=(int)1234, signed=(boolean)true, width=(int)16,
depth=(int)16, rate=(int)44100, channels=(int)1
Pipeline is PREROLLING ...
/GstPipeline:pipeline0/GstDecodeBin:decodebin0/GstTypeFindElement:typefind.GstPad:src:
caps = audio/x-raw-int, endianness=(int)1234, signed=(boolean)true,
width=(int)16, depth=(int)16, rate=(int)44100, channels=(int)1
/GstPipeline:pipeline0/GstDecodeBin:decodebin0/GstTypeFindElement:typefind.GstPad:sink:
caps = audio/x-raw-int, endianness=(int)1234, signed=(boolean)true,
width=(int)16, depth=(int)16, rate=(int)44100, channels=(int)1
/GstPipeline:pipeline0/GstDecodeBin:decodebin0.GstGhostPad:sink: caps =
audio/x-raw-int, endianness=(int)1234, signed=(boolean)true, width=(int)16,
depth=(int)16, rate=(int)44100, channels=(int)1
/GstPipeline:pipeline0/GstDecodeBin:decodebin0.GstGhostPad:sink.GstProxyPad:proxypad0:
caps = audio/x-raw-int, endianness=(int)1234, signed=(boolean)true,
width=(int)16, depth=(int)16, rate=(int)44100, channels=(int)1
/GstPipeline:pipeline0/GstAlsaSink:alsasink0.GstPad:sink: caps =
audio/x-raw-int, endianness=(int)1234, signed=(boolean)true, width=(int)16,
depth=(int)16, rate=(int)44100, channels=(int)1
/GstPipeline:pipeline0/GstDecodeBin:decodebin0.GstGhostPad:src0: caps =
audio/x-raw-int, endianness=(int)1234, signed=(boolean)true, width=(int)16,
depth=(int)16, rate=(int)44100, channels=(int)1
/GstPipeline:pipeline0/GstDecodeBin:decodebin0.GstGhostPad:src0.GstProxyPad:proxypad1:
caps = audio/x-raw-int, endianness=(int)1234, signed=(boolean)true,
width=(int)16, depth=(int)16, rate=(int)44100, channels=(int)1
Pipeline is PREROLLED ...
Setting pipeline to PLAYING ...
New clock: GstAudioSinkClock

What would cause this to be so high and what can I do to begin to debug it?

This is running kernel version 2.6.33-rc4.
