Gstreamer internals

Hi ,

I want to understand the internals of gstreamer. Please let me know how do I
go about. i have already read the appplication developers manual and was
able to use gst-launch playbin2 etc.
I could generate a full log also
If I look at only the lines that contain INFO in the log, will I be able to
understand.

I want to understand the following:

1.No of threads that get created etc

2.Buffer allocation and buffer management

3.control flow / events

4.Data flow.

Please let me know where should i start.
