WMV audio cuts in and out

I am playing back a WMV file (the sample video that comes with Windows 7) through GStreamer. The audio cuts in and out at the same places consistently. This happens whether I am running it via `gst-launch playbin2` or in an application where I am using `uridecodebin`, `glimagesink`, and `autoaudiosink`. The video plays back flawlessly in any case.

And ideas what the problem could be? How do I even start to troubleshoot something like this? I could send the output from `gst-launch` if that would be useful.
