Probably: these "tips" to proceed safe .DEF-to-.LIB conversion shall be
applied not only to <glib> but also to <gstreamer> .DEF files as well. 
Then: shall we conclude this is the way /gstreamer-*devel*/ is built (as
part of "procedure" prior to  final
<http://gstreamer.freedesktop.org/data/pkg/windows/1.0.10/gstreamer-1.0-devel-x86-1.0.10.msi>  
packaging) ?
