GStreamer Pango not loading on OSX

I have now built gstreamer from the branch, using cerbero.
Installed the packages it makes.
Set the libs and the headers in the software to point to that.
Set the environmental variables required to point to the locations needed.
It runs and I can see it has video but it crashes out straight away with the
following error.

assertion 'PANGO_IS_FONTSET (fontset)' failed

(YoutubeVideoOverlay:31254): Pango-WARNING **: failed to choose a font,
expect ugly output. engine-type='PangoRenderCoreText', script='common'

(YoutubeVideoOverlay:31254): GLib-GObject-CRITICAL **: gpointer
g_object_ref(gpointer): assertion 'G_IS_OBJECT (object)' failed

(YoutubeVideoOverlay:31254): Pango-WARNING **: couldn't load font "Ume P
Gothic C4 Not-Rotated 23", modified variant/weight/stretch as fallback,
expect ugly output.

(YoutubeVideoOverlay:31254): GLib-GObject-CRITICAL **: gpointer
g_object_ref(gpointer): assertion 'G_IS_OBJECT (object)' failed

(YoutubeVideoOverlay:31254): Pango-ERROR **: Could not load fallback font,
bailing out.
The program has unexpectedly finished.
