Yes it does... I also filed a related bug + patch : https://bugzilla.gnome.org/show_bug.cgi?id=748757
 I'll keep an eye on this issue and will test it when a solution is provided (I am afraid that I can't provide the solution myself).
I'll probably switch to linux in the meantime as I need master to test the latest version of the compositor element.
