<div>You need to download and install the DirectFB library from <a href="http://directfb.org">directfb.org</a>. Then you need to change your boot loader configuration file to include a vga configuration (use vga=791 for 1024x768 resolution), and set the runlevel to 3. When you reboot, you should be able to see a penguin at startup. You should also be able to run dfbdump and dfbg etc. After you are sure that directfb is installed properly, you need to rebuild gst-plugins-bad. That would install dfbvideosink.
