If u are tryin to install using the source<br>then see the config file output ... <br><br>sometimes .. it says .. certain plugins will not be compiled due to external dependencies ..<br>(it gives a list .. things which have no dependency and will be installed .. thing with dependency and will be installed .. etc etc )

Hi all,<br><br>I'm trying to use the plugin mad to play mp3 files.but after i install all these plugins, the gstreamer can not find the right plugins,such as mad, osssink.<br><br>/ $ gst-inspect mad<br>No such element or plugin 'mad'
