Is there a way in GStreamer to play 24p content as 25p (ie. speed up the play back) ? You may wonder way is it convenient. There are some HDTV that does not support 24p natively but do support 50Hz. Playing content at 25p (which is actually what the telecine process does when encoding into PAL/SECAM) you can get a smooth playback on those TV's. I know it is possible in Windows using a directshow filter called Reclock (<a href="http://forum.slysoft.com/showthread.php?t=19931">http://forum.slysoft.com/showthread.php?t=19931</a>).
