As suggested , I used qtdemux and it worked .<BR>
<BR>
The pipeline in this case is ..<BR>
gst-launch filesrc location=/root/mpeg4.mp4 ! qtdemux ! ffdec_mpeg4 ! sdlvideosink<BR>

And it worked fine.... :-)<BR>
