Andrés is actually working in packaging gstreamer for mac as part of the OSSBuild build system. You will find instructions in the README (<A HREF="http://code.google.com/p/ossbuild/source/browse/trunk/Main/GStreamer/MacOSX/MacPorts/README.txt">http://code.google.com/p/ossbuild/source/browse/trunk/Main/GStreamer/MacOSX/MacPorts/README.txt</A>) The idea is to use macports with modified portfiles to be able to reduce to the minimum the dependencies built (eg: remove GTK+ related dependencies, which are usually provided with the gtk installer), plus add some helper scripts to ease distributing the gstreamer dependencies with your app, in a default path different from /opt/local/.
