I am familiar with C .I have been following up gstreamer for quite some time with just downloading building and referring some code. I would like to start contributing to the gstreamer. I checked the bug list and it didnt give me any place to start with. I would like to know any ongoing projects inside gstreamer where I could contribute to. </blockquote> In addition to what DS said, let us know which area you are interested in (audio video, codecs, ...). Also try building 0.11 and run the tests. Fixing failing/unported tests and porting remaining plugins would be very welcome.
