<p> I am new to gstreamer </p>
<p> Testing is done on the target board </p>
<p> Req. Audio from alsasrc to be resampled and passed on to alsasink.<br> Audio source : mono<br> Input audio rate: 8KHz<br> Output audio rate: 44.1KHz<br> Observation : There is no audio heard in speakers</p>
<p> Pipeline used<br> 1. gst-launch-0.10 alsasrc device=hw:1,1,0 ! audioconvert ! audioresample ! audio/x-raw-int, rate=44100 ! alsasink device=hw:0,0,0<br> and <br> 2. gst-launch-0.10 alsasrc device=hw:1,1,0 ! audioconvert ! audio/x-raw-int, channels=1 ! audioresample ! audio/x-raw-int, rate=44100 ! alsasink device=hw:0,0,0</p>
<p> Test Performed<br> 1. Play test tone : Test tone is heard<br> gst-launch-0.10 audiotestsrc ! alsasink device=hw:0,0,0</p>
<p> 2. Record in a file and Play back :: Audio is getting recorded and audio heard when played back<br> a. Record audio <br> gst-launch-0.10 alsasrc device=hw:1,1,0 ! audioconvert ! audioresample ! audio/x-raw-int, rate=44100 ! wavenc ! filesink location="test.wav"<br>
b. Playback audio <br> gst-launch-0.10 filesrc location="test.wav" ! audioconvert ! <strong><font color="#ff0000">audio/x-raw-int, channels=1</font></strong> ! audioresample ! audio/x-raw-int, rate=44100 ! wavenc ! alsasink device=hw:0,0,0<br>
<strong>Note! </strong>Playback audio is heard only when the No. of channels is set to 1</p>
