I have copied the helloworld.c program from the GStreamer Application Development
Manual (1.0.3) - but it does not compile. I get
[ian@Sound GSTstuff]$ gcc -Wall helloworld.c -o helloworld
$(pkg-config --cflags --libs gstreamer-1.0)
Package gstreamer-1.0 was not found in the pkg-config search path.
Perhaps you should add the directory containing `gstreamer-1.0.pc'
to the PKG_CONFIG_PATH environment variable
No package 'gstreamer-1.0' found
helloworld.c:1:21: fatal error: gst/gst.h: No such file or directory
compilation terminated.
I cannot locate a file called gstreasmer-1.0.pc. Evidently,
something has gone wrong with my installation process. Please could
someone suggest what I might have missed.
