Yes the PPA is quite outdated, the proposed version is 1.0.8 ...<br>
I suppose I have to build from the sources.<br>

Regarding the alpha element, either the noise-level and the angle
properties are not working with the 0.1 version or the is not
enough to solve my issue...<br>

The PPA is out dated, I seriously think the distro should take care of
updating to the 1.2. The pipeline works fine on 1.2, as videomixer have
got quite some improvement.

You should look at the alpha element documentation. It's doing some
advanced fuzzy matching on colors which can be (and probably must be)
tweaked to you scene.
