<div dir="ltr">There are some of us stuck on very old OS versions who don't have the resources to try to rebuild GStreamer for an older version of GLib. That said, supporting such an old version is an enormous amount of extra work which likely increases the probability of bugs. It is a compromise that you need to decide. That is why GStreamer no longer supports 0.10.<br>

Yes, but 0.10 support is going to die by 0.6.0 time frame. So, people<br>
should be using GStreamer 1.2 by now, and at the minimum GStreamer<br>
1.0. Based on some testing I did in the past, 1.0 performance > 0.10<br>
by ~10%, not to mention many additional bug fixes that appeared in<br>
1.0.<br>

Is there any reason to stick to 0.10?<br>
