<div dir="ltr"><div><div>Hi.<br><br></div>I'm developing the code for the Snowmix VideoMmixer that heavily depends on GStreamer. Trying to migrate to Ubuntu 14.04 I experience a heavy performance penalty with my software taking 8 times as much CPU for mixing video as for the same program and setup using Ubuntu 13.11 or other previous versions.<br>
<br></div><div>It appear that Cairo/Pango in 14.04 consume a considerably larger amount of CPU although I do not yet have the clear evidence.<br><br></div><div>Have you guys experienced anything similar for some of you modules using Cairo and/or Pango ?<br>
