I check the media type that V4l2src supports with gst-inspect and it shows it can support pads: image/jpeg<br>
while when I try that<br>
gst-launch v4l2src ! image/jpeg width=640,height=480,bpp=24,depth=24,framerate=15/1 ! jpegdec ! xvimagesink<br>
it shows:<br>
Error : from element pipeline0/v2l2src0: could not negotiate format<br>
.....<br>
check your filtered caps,<br>

I don't know the reason, Any tips will be appreciated!<br>

The v4l2src can only generate jpeg if the hardware/driver supports it as well.<br>
