Will new gst-omx support source/sink type of IL components ?

Hi,

It seems that current implementation of gst-omx supports filters (decoders,
encoders, converters etc.) type of IL components only.
Is this understanding correct ?
if yes then, Is there any plan to support IL components of source/sink type
as well ?
