Auto-mounting of USB drives

Ok - I'd tried with/without gnome-volume-manager running and got no joy.
With g-v-m running I get the following output which probably hints at a
borked dbus/hal setup?

Basically I have the following setup:

- Fedora Core 2 with standard dbus install (0.20-4.1)
- HAL installed from CVS under /usr/local
- gnome-volume-manager from CVS under /usr/local

My /etc/fstab doesn't seem to get updated by the fstab-update.sh
callout.

As far as I could tell I followed all of the build instructions.
