I think pm-utils should be the only one writing a logfile about a thing it
knows about and actually executes.

pm-utils already prints all its debugging output to stdout if there is no
logfile specified in the functions script. So maybe we should always do
both? But that's out of my experience of shell scripting. Maybe Stefan or
Peter knows how to do that and want to comment if this is desireable.
