Additions to Power Manager Interface

How is multidesktop a formfactor? Isn't it just software configuration? 
I can turn my personal desktop into a Sun Ray server and back in 60 
seconds by running a single command. Is multi-sear a multidesktop? Is 
fast user switching a multidesktop? Aren't we trying to infer too much 
from too little?

What if a video adapter drives more than one display? Maybe 
video_adapter should represent a video adapter? What about the existing 
display_device capability? Should video_adapter_pm a subclass of the 
more generic video_adapter? Why is laptop_panel a separate class? Am I 
asking too many questions?
